Job Content:
Responsibilities
- Maintain a close liaison with service units to drive health and safety culture
- Conduct regular workplace health and safety inspection, environment measurement (i.e. IAQ) and provide advice on improvement
- Conducting health and safety training to staff at all different levels
- Acting as a key investigation coordinator when incident/ accident happens, in order to find out the root cause and advice on improvement.
- Follow up closely with injured staff and rehab company for early return to work
- Preparing regular Health & Safety performance reports for management review of the past performances and the progresses of annual improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Health and Safety
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience and with 3 years managerial experience
- Experience with work injury management is a must
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and able to work independently
- Familiar with local legislation relating to Environment, Health and Safety
- Registered Safety Officer under the Factories and Industrial Undertakings (Safety Officers and Safety Supervisors) Regulation is an advantage
- Knowledge in safety management system promoted by Labour Department is an advantage
- Experience in social welfare settings will be an advantage
